Chapters 1-7: Word Finder

I found it interesting when I read that a "COB" is what a male swan is called.
My son was looking over my shoulder and asked what "boggy underfoot" meant. I replied; soft, soupy, sticky, wet and kinda sucks your feet in.

    Escapades- An adventurous, unconventional act or undertaking.

    Ammunition- means of attacking or defending an argument, thesis, or point of view.
    Exalted- Elevated in rank, character, or status.

    Peninsula- piece of land that projects into a body of water and is connected with the mainland by an isthmus.
